We all have our own definitions of what cheating is in a relationship…thousands of people took an online poll that asked which different things would count as cheating and these are the results:
- Does kissing someone on the cheek count as cheating? Only 7% say yes…73% say it absolutely is and 3% thing it’s cheating when two actors have to kiss.
- Scrolling though Tinder when you’re bored, but not messaging anyone? 47% say yes that’s cheating…87% say it’s cheating if you do message someone.
- Hugging someone very closely and slowly? 14% say yes.
- Sending someone revealing photos? 94% SAY YES.
- Giving someone a massage? 22% say yes no matter the context of the massage.
- Hooking up with someone else when you’re on a “break”? 32% say yes, another 35% think it’s a gray area…
- Telling someone, “I’d totally hook up with you if I was single”? 35% say it counts as cheating…
- Sliding into someone else’s DMs? Only 62% SAY IT’S CHEATING!
- Having SEX with someone else? 1% said it is NOT cheating…how???
- Finally: Your partner has been in a coma for months and might not wake up. You sleep with someone else. Is that cheating? 41% say yes.
