Ever been on a first date that ended so badly someone was arrested? In Tampa, Florida last week, a 23-year-old named Taylor Beverly was trying to show off for a female passenger that he was on a FIRST DATE with and is now pleading guilty to a felony charge and will serve two months in jail.

After flying through a red light in front of a cop car, police began chasing Beverly’s 2017 Suzuki, that weaved in and out of traffic while continuing to run red lights and going “well over 100 mph,” according to the arrest affidavit.

Beverly’s passenger told police, she was “screaming at him to stop but he refused.” Sounds like a traumatizing first date.

While being arrested, Beverly stated that he was, “trying to show off for his date.” Beverly’s records show that he was previously convicted of grand theft, passing a bad check, probation violation, cocaine possession and was arrested in April for allegedly slapping and strangling an ex-girlfriend.

There has been no update on if there will be a second date.
